Assurancia Groupe Tardif has appointed Valérie Hamel, Client Experience Director, as the person responsible for the protection of personal and sensitive information at the firm.
Assurancia Groupe Tardif has implemented adequate information security measures to respect the protection of your personal information. Assurancia Groupe Tardif has implemented a separate policy for staff to raise awareness of best practices to adopt in the course of professional activities for the firm.
Assurancia Groupe Tardif may be required to collect personal information about you. This personal information is used exclusively by Assurancia Groupe Tardif to communicate with you, provide you with the services or information you have requested, or send you information that may be of interest to you. Assurancia Groupe Tardif will only use personal information for these purposes, unless your consent has been obtained. Firm Staff
The firm’s employees have signed a confidentiality and non-disclosure agreement regarding personal and sensitive information concerning, among others, the firm’s clients. They are bound by this agreement to use the information to which they have access only in the course of the firm’s professional activities, in accordance with legislative, regulatory, and ethical requirements, and only for the purposes for which it was collected.
Additionally, employees are required to protect the integrity of the information to which they have access and to ensure its confidentiality. They must not disclose this information unless expressly authorized to do so by their manager or required to do so by law.
Method of Communication
The firm uses the Outlook messaging service to communicate with its clients (actual and potential). It cannot ensure the complete security of this method of communication. In this context, when the consumer wishes to use this method of communication, they consent to the risks that may result. The option of communication by mail is available.
Retention and Destruction of Information
The firm retains client files in accordance with legislative and regulatory requirements, particularly in a manner that promotes their security, for the period determined by law and regulations in force.
In the event that personal information must be destroyed, the firm uses secure methods to do so.
Complaints
In the event of a dispute or complaint regarding the protection of personal and sensitive information, the consumer or client is invited to contact the firm or consult the dispute and complaint handling policy.
